Gorgeous views out over the Pioneer Valley. The observation tower itself is not handicap accessible, and the uppermost viewing platform is only reachable by a steep spiral stair. However, the views from the base of the tower are almost as good.

One of the nicest places I've been to in my life.
There is an adjacent picnic area. Red-tailed hawks nest nearby and can sometimes be seen catching the updraft off the cliff face.
Amazing sunsets and moonrises. Direct trails to the top in 15 minutes, or park at the north end and take a few mile stroll. Nice westerly views, with sunsets, from the north mountain too.
